METLINK MELBOURNE website. Melbourne and Victoria's public transport website. A complete redevelopment was undertaken in 2005. After 18 months work the new site went live in September 06.
Jo Lane: Stakeholder consultation and requirements gathering from Dept of Infrastructure Transport Division; VLine; Connex; Yarra Trams, Bus Association of Victoria, Stellar Call Centre, PTCCC, RVIB and PTUA. User feedback analysis from prevous site was included to then confidently complete requirements authoring from which an EOI was requested. Developer responses were then examined, a selection made of 2 companies, David Trewern Design to design the interface and designIT to develop the functional aspects of the site. Jo then commenced as Site Producer; WC3 protocols were analysed, and a complex liaison process took place with Design and Technology suppliers (Open Source Content Management System) to ensure deliverables achieved. Internal liaison with Metlink Brand Manager was undertaken to successful completion of live site.
DEANS ART Company website.
Jo Lane: Objectives Definition and Refinement, Design Consultation and Site Producer.
DEANS ART is a chain of Melbourne Art Materials Supply stores with a history dating back to 1854. They required a site that sat them squarely in front of their competitors. An online Gallery was established to encourage artists to use the site. A product catalogue was designed to have a 'specials' function when items were discounted for promotions.

BOYZ RULE Books written by Felice Arena and Phil Kettle were made into an animated Web Show as an example of how to bring the books to live media for boys.
Jo Lane: Site Producer, working with Production Company NECTARINE for Mark Morrissey and Asssociates, Sydney
The visual representation of characters had to be developed from scratch, scripts written to adhere to the books' intent, and interactive taxonomy developed to entertain and educate boys aged between 7 - 11 years old.
